We are looking for someone to manage our patient’s experience and keep clinic operations running smoothly.
Well Being Pelvic Physical Therapy is a unique opportunity to work in health care because we focus exclusively on the patient. We provide one-on-one treatments in a relaxed and comfortable environment. We are continuing to grow and are looking for the right person to help us continue our mission.
This position is primarily, but not exclusively, office management. Job duties include:
- Answering phone calls to assist in patient questions and scheduling
- greeting patients when they arrive and checking them out when done
- taking payments
- helping our clients feel comfortable at all times
- cleaning rooms between appointments
- light cleaning duties – laundry, vacuuming, and keeping the office tidy
- Organizing office flow, including managing appointments, paperwork, spreadsheets, faxes, supply and inventory tracking and ordering, and more
- maintaining high standards of excellence and expert care
- communication with physicians and providers
- Being the positive, encouraging face of our business
About us: We are a small clinic, with 2 other staff members: one Physical Therapist/owner, and an office administrator (who will continue to work at least 1x/week and assist you with training and covering days off as needed). We are anticipating adding another therapist within the year. While we are busy and growing, we intentionally never plan to be a large clinic.
This position is essential for the success of our business. It doesn’t matter how good our treatments are if a potential patient never makes it past the first phone call, or if we cannot stay organized. You will be the front line, setting the expectations of a patient’s experience.
Desirable candidates will possess these skills:
- Genuinely compassionate, making everyone feel welcome and comfortable
- Concern for the prosperity of the clinic
- Understanding the importance of the job
- Taking pride in your work, regardless of the task
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organization skills
- Self-sufficient
- Able to take initiative to identify and complete tasks
- Good communication skills to not only accept direction, but to give productive feedback in return
- Maturity to handle sensitive topics
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Social Media savvy is preferred
- Clear understanding of word processing and spreadsheets, including transcription
- Open to learning new things
What you get in return:
- Competitive pay: we recognize the importance of the position and offer as much as we can as a small business
- Ongoing training that can be tailored to topics you suggest
- Satisfaction that you are helping make a difference in people’s lives
- A clean, bright, comfortable working environment
- Personal connection and access to frequent communication with supervisors and owner
- part-time, flexible work schedule to allow you to have a personal life outside of work
Is this you?
